Role Description This is a contract, on-site Deployment Technician role based in Singapore. The Deployment Technician will prepare, install, and configure Hivebotics robotic systems and related hardware at customer locations. Responsibilities include performing software and hardware installations, and ensuring all systems are fully functional before handover. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, coordinating with engineering and support teams, and documenting deployment steps and configurations. The Deployment Technician will also provide basic user guidance to onsite staff and support routine maintenance activities to keep the fleet operational.


Qualifications

  • Strong technical skills, including robotics mapping, setup, diagnostics, and hardware replacement.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and technical support to identify, analyze, and resolve system issues in the field.
  • Experience performing software installation, configuration, and updates in Windows or Linux environments.
  • Ability to follow deployment procedures, maintain accurate technical documentation, and adhere to safety and security standards.
  • Comfort working in customers’ restroom facilities, with clear and professional communication skills in English.
  • Ability to lift, position, and handle equipment safely, and work on-site with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in field deployment, IT support, robotics, or automation systems is an advantage.
  • Relevant technical certification or diploma in IT, computer engineering, or a related field is preferred.
