 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in M&E, Electrical, Mechanical, Building Services Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a main contractor or M&E design consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of M&E design, construction, testing, commissioning and quality requirements in Malaysia.
• Familiar with relevant requirements including UBBL, Malaysian Standards, MS/IEC, ST, BOMBA, DOSH/JKKP and SPAN.
• Able to independently handle construction methodologies, M&E detailing, drawing optimisation and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Revit, Navisworks or MS Project is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an advantage.
• Strong technical, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in industrial plants, cleanrooms, data centres or major M&E projects is an advantage.
• BEM registration or eligibility is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical management and coordination of electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC and related M&E systems.
• Review drawings, specifications, equipment data and BOQs to identify clashes, omissions and construction risks.
• Manage M&E detailed design, drawing optimisation and coordinated services layouts.
• Prepare and review Method Statements, technical submissions, material/equipment submissions and RFIs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural teams, subcontractors and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
• Monitor site quality, progress, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Oversee M&E inspections, defect rectification, as-built drawings and O&M documentation.
• Support the Project Manager with planning, resources, procurement and subcontractor coordination.
