As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Global Tour Coordinator to join our Kuala Lumpur team. Key ResponsibilitiesHotel Reservations & Tour Operations
- Coordinate hotel reservations and travel arrangements for international group tours and FIT bookings.
- Process new bookings, amendments, cancellations, and special requests accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation details in internal systems.
- Monitor booking deadlines, hotel confirmations, room allocations, and other operational requirements.
- Prepare and manage rooming lists, arrival schedules, and special guest requests to support smooth tour operations.
- Follow up on outstanding bookings and ensure all arrangements are confirmed within the required timeline.
Partner & Stakeholder Coordination
- Communicate and coordinate with hotels, suppliers, destination partners, and Miki Travel offices worldwide.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with hotel partners and suppliers.
- Provide timely updates regarding booking status, availability, operational changes, and service requirements.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Quotation, and Operations, to ensure smooth coordination and service delivery.
Operational Support & Service Excellence
- Investigate and resolve reservation discrepancies, booking issues, and other operational matters.
- Manage urgent requests and last-minute changes efficiently while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Track and follow up on operational issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with service recovery by coordinating appropriate solutions for booking- or customer-related concerns.
- Escalate complex or urgent matters to the relevant parties when necessary.
Administration & Reporting
- Maintain accurate booking records, correspondence, and operational documentation.
- Prepare relevant reports and provide administrative support for operational monitoring.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures, operational standards, and quality requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in hotel reservations, travel operations, hospitality, customer service, or a related field would be an advantage.
- Candidates with relevant internship experience or exposure to the travel and hospitality industry are also encouraged to apply.
Skills & Knowledge
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with hotel reservation systems, travel booking platforms, or Property Management Systems (PMS) would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of European destinations, hotel operations, or international travel markets would be beneficial.
- Able and willing to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays, when required.
