Audit Senior

3–4+ years of relevant experience as an Audit Senior,preferably within a public accounting, professional services, or internal auditenvironment.

Job Summary

Weare seeking an experienced and technically strong Audit Senior with 3–4+ years of Audit Senior experience and a strong interestin Artificial Intelligence (AI),automation, and emerging audit technologies.

Thesuccessful candidate will be responsible for leading audit engagements,supervising junior team members, reviewing audit workpapers, identifying auditrisks, and ensuring compliance with applicable auditing and accountingstandards. The role will also involve leveraging AI-powered audit tools, data analytics, automation, and other emergingtechnologies to improve audit quality, efficiency, and riskassessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit engagements from planningthrough completion.
  • Develop audit strategies based on risk assessmentand business understanding.
  • Perform and review audit procedures, includingsubstantive testing, controls testing, analytical procedures, and financialstatement analysis.
  • Prepare and review audit working papers andensure appropriate documentation and audit evidence.
  • Identify significant risks, unusual transactions,control deficiencies, and potential areas of financial misstatement.
  • Supervise, coach, and review the work of juniorauditors and audit associates.
  • Communicate audit findings, risks, andrecommendations to managers and clients.
  • Assist with preparation and review of financialstatements and related disclosures.
  • Ensure audits are performed in accordance withapplicable SSA applicables and otherrelevant auditing standards, as applicable.
AI & TechnologySkills

Theideal candidate should have practical knowledge of how AI can be applied withinaudit and accounting environments, including:

  • Keen interest or experience using Generative AI tools such asChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or similar platforms for professional/audit-relatedtasks.
  • Understanding of AI applications in audit planning, risk assessment, dataanalysis, audit documentation, and financial statement review.
  • Experience with audit analytics or data-analysistools such as Power BI, Excel,Alteryx, IDEA, ACL, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to automaterepetitive audit procedures.
  • Understanding of AI risks, including data privacy, model reliability,hallucinations, bias, and the need for human review and professional judgment.
  • Ability to use AI responsibly while maintainingconfidentiality and compliance with professional standards.
