SAP Security – GRC Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Packaged/SaaS Application Engineer to join a Software Engineering team, supporting a large-scale enterprise finance modernization initiative for a global energy sector organization. This role is centered on SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), with responsibility for configuring, supporting, and continuously improving GRC-related applications and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and support packaged/SaaS applications, adapting features, managing releases, and ensuring system stability.
• Use standard tools, APIs, and low-code platforms to align solutions with business needs while preserving compatibility and performance.
• Act as the subject matter expert for SAP GRC, collaborating with and guiding the team to perform effectively.
• Take ownership of team decisions and engage with multiple teams to contribute to key technical and operational decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Develop and implement configuration strategies that enhance system functionality and user experience.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing system performance and proposing innovative solutions.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Provide technical guidance and share expertise to support the growth and development of team members.
• Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new tools and technologies to improve application management and delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced proficiency in SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (SAP GRC) (mandatory).
• Recommended: Advanced proficiency in SAP GRC Access Control (SAP GRC AC).
• Suggested: Proficiency in SAP Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Strong experience configuring and supporting SAP applications in an enterprise environment.
• Proven ability to work as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, release management, and system performance monitoring.
• Prior experience in large-scale, business-critical SAP environments is highly desirable.
