Job Summary
Join SCP as a Pharmacy Technician to support laboratory operations by accurately compounding medications, maintaining records, managing inventory, and assisting pharmacists in daily tasks. Training is provided for newcomers without compounding experience.
Responsibilities
Accurately compound medications following training to support personalized pharmacy services
Maintain a clean, organized laboratory environment to ensure safety and efficiency
Keep detailed and accurate records of all compounding activities for compliance and quality control
Assist pharmacists in managing inventory to maintain adequate stock levels
Respond professionally to phone and walk-in customer inquiries to support customer service
Support pharmacists in daily operational tasks to ensure smooth workflow
Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned to contribute to overall team effectiveness
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma in a science-related field to support understanding of laboratory processes
Previous experience in a laboratory or relevant setting to facilitate quicker adaptation (training provided)
Good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members and customers
Proficiency in English to ensure clear communication
Strong attention to detail and accuracy to maintain high-quality standards
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
