Qualifications

• Diploma, degree or equivalent practical experience in software development or information technology
• Strong competency in at least one primary track such as Laravel, PHP backend and web development, Flutter and Dart mobile development.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, Git and relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB.
• Ability to debug issues systematically and test completed work before handoff.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with product, design, business and technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn across Laravel and Flutter and participate in an agreed production-support roster.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Laravel / PHP applications, Flutter applications, REST APIs, integrations and supporting services.
• Work with the Product Manager and IT Manager to clarify requirements, acceptance criteria, priorities and technical constraints.
• Estimate assigned work and communicate progress, dependencies, risks and blockers clearly.
• Perform unit, integration, functional, regression and basic security testing for assigned changes.
• Prepare test evidence before work is submitted for user acceptance testing or release approval.
• Investigate and resolve defects, performance issues, data issues and production incidents.
• Participate in scheduled production support, deployment and post-release verification activities.
• Follow existing architecture, coding standards, code-review requirements, Git workflow and release controls.
• Maintain relevant API, technical, configuration, deployment, incident and support documentation.
• Protect company information, customer data, production access and credentials.
• Perform other reasonable software-development duties assigned by the IT Manager.
