Job Description:

We are looking for a Regional Application Engineer for the Asia Pacific region, specializing in liquid cooling solutions. In this role, you will work directly with customers, including OEMs, system integrators, and distributors, to provide technical expertise and support in the specification, design, and integration of Parker's fluid connector products within the liquid cooling market. The ideal candidate will have strong engineering skills, a deep understanding of thermal management solutions, and experience working with liquid cooling systems in high-tech industries.

Responsibilities:

• Application Engineering & Technical Support:

  • Provide technical expertise and application support for fluid connector products, including quick-connect couplings, hoses, fittings, and valves, in liquid cooling systems.

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the correct specification, design, and integration of Parker's products into liquid cooling solutions for customer projects.

  • Assist customers in resolving technical issues, offering solutions for product optimization, installation, and performance improvements.

• 
  Customer Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between customers and Parker’s internal teams, offering prompt and effective solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering, purchasing, and procurement teams at OEMs, system integrators, and distributors in the liquid cooling market.

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions for specific liquid cooling projects.

• 
  Product Development & Customization:

  • Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to identify emerging customer needs and help develop new products or enhance existing products for the liquid cooling sector.

  • Support custom product development based on customer requirements and applications, including adjustments to material selection, design, and packaging.

  Training & Technical Documentation:

  • Deliver product training sessions to internal teams, distributors, and customers, ensuring they understand the technical specifications and benefits of Parker’s fluid connector solutions in the liquid cooling market.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, white papers, and case studies, to educate customers and enhance the sales process.

  Market Analysis & Feedback:

  • Monitor and analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitive products in the Asia Pacific liquid cooling market.

  • Provide valuable feedback to sales and marketing teams regarding customer preferences, potential product modifications, and new market opportunities.

• 
  Sales Support & Business Development:

  • Assist the sales team in identifying new opportunities and customers for fluid connector products in the liquid cooling sector.

  • Support sales teams in technical presentations, proposals, and the development of customer-specific solutions.

  • Work with regional distributors and partners to expand Parker’s presence in the liquid cooling market across the Asia Pacific region.

• 
  Project Management:

  • Manage the technical aspects of customer projects from initial specification through to implementation and post-sale support.

  • Ensure that project milestones, timelines, and technical deliverables are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or product support, ideally in the liquid cooling, thermal management, or fluid connector industries.
• Knowledge of liquid cooling systems, including the integration of fluid connectors, hoses, pumps, and heat exchangers in high-performance cooling solutions.
• Experience with thermal management products and technologies, especially for data centers, telecommunications, or high-performance computing systems.
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermal systems, and material properties relevant to liquid cooling applications.
• Proficiency in CAD software and basic knowledge of product design and simulation tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to provide creative solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team, with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin
