Job Description
Responsibilities
Our esteemed client, an established company in Singapore, is searching for a Billing & Accounts Assistant:
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and issue invoices and credit notes accurately and on time.
Verify quotations and secure necessary approvals from the Operations Manager and General Manager.
Email invoices and Statements of Accounts (SOA) to customers and follow up on outstanding payments when required.
Record and update invoice details in Excel for two entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Review data entries and coordinate with sales staff to resolve discrepancies promptly.
Respond to customer queries via phone or WhatsApp regarding billing and invoice matters.
Generate monthly reports, including sales reports, credit note summaries, and salesperson performance reports.
Maintain organized filing of invoices and related documentation.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate financial records for audit and reporting purposes.
Prepare and assist in generating monthly financial and management reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Manage and reconcile petty cash expenses.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Handle inter-company billings and reconciliations at the regional level.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.
Prior experience in billing, accounting, or administrative support preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Additional Information:
Salary: Basic Salary up to S$3,000 + Variable Bonus
Working Hours: 5 days, Mon – Friday (8am – 5:30pm)
Working Location: Tuas/ Jurong East
