Responsibilities
Job Summary
This role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of risk management responsibilities in a growing financial institution. You will gain hands-on experience across enterprise risk management, regulatory compliance and business operations, while working closely with senior management to build and continuously enhance the Company's risk management framework.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, maintain and update the Company's enterprise risk management framework, including risk management policies, procedures and risk control documentation, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal standards.
2.Monitor and assess key risks across the Company's business activities, including market, credit, liquidity, operational and other enterprise risks, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
3.Prepare periodic risk reports for senior management and the Board, and support the preparation and submission of regulatory reports and other risk-related information.
4.Review and analyse risk data to ensure the accuracy, completeness and integrity of risk reporting and regulatory submissions.
5.Monitor regulatory developments and industry best practices, assess their impact on the Company's risk management framework, recommend updates to policies and procedures, and support risk awareness and training initiatives.
6.Perform daily risk monitoring, including risk limits, exposures, margin utilisation, key risk indicators and exception reporting, and promptly escalate material risk events.
7.Support the implementation, maintenance and periodic review of risk management system parameters, risk limits and control settings to ensure they remain effective and aligned with the Company's risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
8.Participate in stress testing, scenario analysis and contingency planning to assess the Company's resilience under adverse market and operational conditions, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
9.Support trade surveillance and post-trade monitoring activities, investigate unusual trading patterns or potential control breaches, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders on follow-up actions where required.
10.Work closely with Operations, Finance, Compliance and other business functions to strengthen risk controls, support reconciliation processes, facilitate risk information sharing and monitor the timely implementation of remediation actions.
11.Support regulatory inspections, internal audits and external audits by preparing risk-related documentation, coordinating information requests and monitoring the implementation of audit recommendations.
12.Perform other enterprise risk management and second line of defence responsibilities, including risk assessments for new products, business initiatives, operational changes, third-party arrangements and other projects assigned by management.
