About the Role

We are looking for a Lab Assistant (R&D) to support our R&D team in product development and laboratory activities. This is a hands-on role suitable for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and interested in the food industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the R&D laboratory.
• Manage, organize, and monitor laboratory samples and supplies.
• Assist with sample purchasing, stock tracking, replenishment, and storage.
• Prepare sample blends and prototypes according to project requirements.
• Assist R&D Technologists with product trials and testing.
• Support sensory evaluations, shelf-life studies, and data collection.
• Assist with documentation and preparation of operating procedures.
• Support continuous improvement activities within the laboratory.
• Perform other R&D-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM qualification or Diploma in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Interested in food product development and laboratory work.
• Willing to learn and able to adapt quickly.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proactive and willing to take initiative.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
