About the role

Full-Time Baker to join our café kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for baking and be comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, measure, and organise ingredients according to recipes

• Bake and decorate cakes, pastries, and other baked products

• Assist with daily food preparation and overall kitchen operations

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations

• Ensure consistency in food quality and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards

• Monitor ingredient usage, stock rotation, and proper storage

• Assist with other kitchen duties when required

About you

• Minimum 2 years of formal baking experience is required

• Strong hands-on experience in baking cakes, pastries, and other baked goods

• Passionate about baking with good attention to detail

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

• Responsible, reliable, and able to work independently

• Comfortable standing and working for extended periods

• Food Safety / Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage
