Job Title: Welder / Metal FabricatorJob SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Welder to join our production team. You will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and joining metal parts using various welding techniques. You must be able to read blueprints, maintain a safe workspace, and deliver high-quality welds that meet structural integrity and safety standards.Key Responsibilities

• Read Blueprints: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to plan layouts and dimensions.
• Join Metals: Fuse metal components using diverse welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Cored).
• Prepare Materials: Clamp, hold, tack-weld, grind, or component-fit parts to prepare them for final welding.
• Operate Machinery: Safely use shop tools such as plasma cutters, torches, angle grinders, and band saws.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished welds for defects, cracks, or gaps to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment, guns, and gas regulators.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to workshop safety guidelines, including wearing a welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical Experience: Proven experience as a Welder or Fabricator.
• Welding Knowledge: Deep understanding of welding procedures, metallurgy, and different metal types (steel, aluminum, stainless steel).
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to accurately read and execute technical schematics.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy materials, stand for long hours, and work in hot or confined spaces.
• Attention to Detail: Precision in measuring and aligning components to prevent warping or structural weakness.
• Certifications (Preferred): AWS (American Welding Society) certification or equivalent local vocational welding diplomas.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
