Job Description
Responsibilities
Site supervision: Monitor daily construction activities and ensure work is carried out correctly.
Technical coordination: Interpret architectural/structural/MEP drawings and resolve technical issues with consultants and contractors.
Setting out & measurements: Check dimensions, levels, alignments and locations of construction works.
Quality control: Inspect completed work, arrange inspections, and ensure materials/workmanship meet specifications.
Progress monitoring: Track site progress against the construction programme and report delays.
Coordination: Work with subcontractors, foremen, suppliers, architects, structural engineers and project managers.
Site documentation: Prepare daily reports, inspection requests, method statements, checklists, as-built information and other records.
Safety: Help ensure workers follow the project's safety procedures and report unsafe conditions.
Problem solving: Deal with unexpected site conditions, clashes, construction difficulties and drawing discrepancies.
