Job Description
- Perform audit compliance checks and ensure compliance for all network equipment.
- Perform software security and vulnerability management, including tracking and status reporting on network and security related devices.
- Managing of proof of concept (POC) projects for the improvement of the network infrastructure.
- Participate / Support in network/network security related audit(s).
- Create and maintain documentation of network configuration, network diagram, mapping, processes, and service records.
- Drive efforts to restore, recover, or alter configurations, logical or physical, to maintain service integrity.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and associated training plans for network administration, usage, and disaster recovery.
- Conduct research on network / network security products, services, protocols, and standards to remain abreast of developments in the IT industry.
- Managing of proof of concept (POC) projects for the improvement of the network infrastructure.
- Manage network assets and servers, including maintenance of network component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
- Provide 1st level technical support, develop designs, and customize solutions to meet business and/or users’ requirements.
- Manage / Work with external vendors to resolve escalated issues / incidents
- After office hours’ support will be required at times especially during network project deployment, planned/unplanned outages, and maintenance.
- Minimum Diploma in IT or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 year of IT networking experience in LAN, Wireless and Network Operations.
- Experience in audit compliance, vulnerability management.
- Network certifications, such as CCNA is an added advantage.
- IT related certifications, such as Foundational AI skills is an added advantage.
- Strong communications and written skills in English.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in a multi-tasking, fast-paced and complex work environment.
- Good communication skill, positive attitude, team player, resourceful and resolve problems with minimum supervision.
- Flexible to work after office hours due to nature of IT support and service oriented.
- Basic understanding of AI tools and methodologies, with demonstrated ability to leverage modern productivity and AI technologies for technical documentation and problem-solving.
