Hiring: Payroll Specialist

Location: Malaysia

Experience: 3+ years

Industry: BPO / Shared Services preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing and validation.
• Review payroll inputs, registers, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors for timely payroll processing and payments.
• Handle statutory contributions, tax-related requirements, and payroll reporting.
• Manage employee payroll queries and stakeholder communications.
• Support payroll process improvements and ad-hoc payroll projects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with Malaysia, Singapore, or Hong Kong payroll.
• Experience managing payroll for 500+ employees.
• Strong knowledge of payroll statutory requirements and tax-related processes.
• Proficient in MS Excel, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• APAC / multi-country payroll experience preferred.
• Experience with Oracle MyHR, EDP, or other payroll systems is an advantage.
• BPO / Shared Services / Payroll Outsourcing experience is preferred.
