Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Prepare ingredients by washing, cutting, peeling, measuring, and portioning as required.
- Support chefs and cooks in daily kitchen operations and food preparation activities.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented in accordance with quality and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and food preparation areas.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Monitor ingredient levels and inform supervisors when replenishment is required.
- Assist with kitchen opening and closing duties.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.
