• Oversees the GL & Non-trade function including the subsidiary operation.

• Review and post the accounting entries done by finance executives.

• Take charge of payroll recording and reconciliation.

• Review credit control and ensure non-trade invoices are accurate and sent promptly within billing procedures and payments are promptly received.

• Review non-trade payments request and ensure timely payments.

• Oversees the maintenance of fixed assets, vendor and customer codes in SAP and manage finance-related agreements.

• Perform month-end closing procedures including clearing of accounts.

• Prepare monthly management reports, analysis, declarations, and surveys.

• Review GST reconciliation and ensure timely and accurate submission.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulation.

• Assist in audit, corporate tax and secretarial matters.

• Provide guidance and support to develop of finance team.

• Assist in develop and implement processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance procedures.

• Work with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the business.

• Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Head of Finance.

Requirement:

• Minimum 5 years of work experience in related role with supervisory experience

• Experience in finance in the retail industry would be highly advantageous

• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Accounting and Finance/ACCA or equivalent

• Meticulous, organized, dependable, pro-active with a can-do attitude, interpersonal skills and a team player.

• Numerical inclined with strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet reporting datelines

• Good knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, Companies Act and other regulatory requirements.

• Proficient in SAP, MS Excel and Word
