Drafting Engineer Job Description:

• Prepare detailed 2D engineering drawings including General Arrangement (GA) drawing, piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID), layout drawing, fabrication drawing and installation drawing using CAD software for Air Pollution Control System (APCS) and Industrial Effluent Treatment System (IETS) projects.
• Prepare ISO and 3D models drawing of the system, equipment, piping, ducting and associated equipment component using CAD software.
• Prepare system drawings and supporting drawing that required for Written Notification (WN) and Written Declaration (WD) submissions to the (DOE).
• Attend site visit to inspect the installation location or existing system unit, conduct field measurement of equipment, piping, ducting, plant layout and verify site condition for engineering design.
• Revise and update drawings based on engineering reviews, site condition and finding, and project modification.
• Prepare as built drawings upon project completion to reflect actual site installation.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, document control and records.
• Implement all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by ISO 9001:2015.
• Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management.

Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, science field or its equivalent.
• Computer literate, especially AUTOCAD software.
• Ability to interpret Piping And Instrumentation Diagrams (PNID) and technical specification.
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with client and cross-functional team members.
• Must possess own transport and willing to travel.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
