As part of the Events and Engagement team, you will work closely with all key stakeholders in the following areas:
1. Award Management – Singapore Corporate Awards
Provide secretariat support for the Singapore Corporate Awards, ensuring smooth coordination and execution of key activities.
Work closely with key stakeholders to develop and manage the awards timeline and key milestones.
Coordinate outreach and communications with shortlisted companies.
Support the planning and execution of award-related activities and administrative requirements.
2. SID Directors Conference
Develop and manage the overall project timeline, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are met.
Lead venue sourcing, evaluation and procurement activities.
Manage the event organiser Request for Proposal (RFP) process, including coordination with vendors and stakeholders.
Support budget planning, tracking and programme development.
Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and coordinate promotional and marketing materials.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth planning and delivery of the conference.
3. Engagement & Events Support
Provide logistics and coordination support for events
Support the Thought Leadership team in the planning and execution of report launches, events and related activities.
Assist with event logistics, stakeholder coordination and other operational requirements as needed.
4. Ad Hoc Responsibilities
Undertake other ad hoc projects and duties as assigned to support the team and ensure business continuity during the maternity cover period.
Provide general administrative and coordination support across relevant team initiatives.
Requirements:
Minimum diploma in any discipline
Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence in engaging senior management (company directors level) and officers at all levels
Minimum 3 years of experience in membership related organisations, professional bodies, trade associations or government sector agencies with some experience in coordinating events and/or programmes
Well organised, meticulous and possess good verbal and written communication skills
Possess initiative and collaborative mindset
Strong time management skills and ability to manage concurrent tasks efficiently
Able to join in November to April 2027 (6 months)
The Singapore Institute of Directors (SID)
is the national association of company directors for the local business community. SID promotes the professional development of directors and corporate leaders. It works closely with the authorities and regulators, its network of members and professionals, such as accountants and lawyers, to identify ways to uphold and enhance the highest standards of corporate governance and ethical conduct.
Formed in 1998, the Institute now has over 3,000 members, comprising mainly directors of listed companies, industry leaders, accountants, lawyers and other professionals involved in the field of corporate governance.
