If youhave worked retail, F&B or a hotel front desk, you already have most ofwhat this job needs. What you probably do not have is a schedule you can planyour week around. That is the part we are offering.

Workschedule: 5-day work week on a rotatingshift, including at least one weekend day. Two rest days every week. Day shifts8:30am to 6:15pm. No night shifts. Clinics closed on public holidays.

What you'll do

• Check patients in and out, and be the person they dealwith first

• Book, confirm and move appointments across the day

• Take payments, and handle cash and card accurately

• Submit and track dental claims — CHAS, Medisave andprivate insurance

• Answer calls, emails and counter enquiries

What you'lllearn

• Healthcare billing and claims — CHAS, Medisave andprivate insurance. This transfers across the healthcare sector, not justdentistry.

• Clinic scheduling and patient flow, which is what keepsa three-clinic group running to time

• How to handle anxious patients. A lot of people arenervous about the dentist, and whether they come back often comes down to howthey were treated at the desk.

Your firstmonth, and where it leads

• One month of structured induction, working through awritten manual and training checklist with our Ops team and senior front deskstaff as your mentors

• Trainee to Business Associate: 3 to 6 months

• Higher pay grade at around one year

• Business Associate to Senior Business Associate: 2 to 3years

• We sponsor courses and certification for trainees, andagain when you are promoted

What we'relooking for

• A local diploma or degree in any subject

• Service experience of any kind — retail, F&B,hotel, beauty, call centre

• Clear communication, written and spoken

• Comfortable picking up new computer systems

• No healthcare or dental experience needed

Pay andbenefits

• $2,500 – $3,000 per month
