Responsibilities
Operating parallel to our mechanical lead, the Lead Electrical Engineer focuses on the engineering, reliability, and modular scalability of our heavy power infrastructure. This role ensures that our large-scale facilities maintain unwavering power distribution stability from the grid down to the chip, prioritizing rapid deployment and cross-border operational alignment.
Power Architecture & Distribution: Design and optimize resilient, large-scale power distribution systems, implementing modular deployment strategies that allow infrastructure to scale fluidly with regional demand.
System Reliability & Compliance: Safeguard operational continuity by designing robust redundancy frameworks, overseeing electrical fault analyses, and ensuring total compliance with both regional standards and global uptime requirements.
Regional & Global Strategy: Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate global site viability, conduct grid capacity assessments, and support live, cross-border operations to ensure seamless infrastructure integration.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Professional/Chartered Engineer status highly preferred).
10+ years of proven track record in electrical design and engineering within hyperscale data centers or heavy industrial mission-critical facilities.
Deep expertise in high/medium voltage distribution, substation design, UPS topologies, switchgear configurations, and modular power skids.
