Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with the school clinic’s procedures and protocols.
• Dealing with minor injuries in the school.
• Initiating emergency procedures for students and staff as needed
• Overseeing medication administration, healthcare procedures, and the development of healthcare plans.
• Liaising with parents regarding their children’s illnesses.
• Serving as consultants with other school professionals, such as food service personnel, physical education teachers, coaches, and counselors.
• Monitoring immunizations, managing communicable diseases, and assessing the school environment to prevent injury and ensure safety.
• Overseeing infection control measures.

Job Specifications

• Minimum Certificate/Diploma of Nursing Practice.
• Possess an Annual Nursing Practicing Certificate.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience working in a school environment is an added advantage.
• Possess good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Possess good organization, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to perform First Aid and CPR treatments.
• Ability to assess emergency situations and act accordingly.
