Logistics Executive

Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating and managing export logistics operations, including shipment documentation, bookings, transportation, regulatory compliance, and vendor coordination to ensure timely and efficient delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end export shipments, including preparation and verification of shipping documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Manage LCL and FCL shipment bookings, ensuring optimal scheduling, space utilization, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, transport vendors, and other logistics partners to ensure timely shipment execution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other export-related documentation.
• Monitor shipment schedules and provide timely updates on shipment status, delays, and delivery arrangements.
• Liaise with customers to understand their logistics requirements and ensure smooth and timely fulfilment.
• Coordinate with warehouse and internal teams to ensure cargo is properly prepared, packed, and ready for collection or shipment.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, transport vendors, and other service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and address service issues to maintain reliable logistics operations.
• Ensure all shipments comply with relevant customs, trade, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain proper records of shipments, documentation, freight costs, and related logistics activities.
• Assist in resolving shipment discrepancies, delays, documentation issues, and other operational matters.
• Support cost control and identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency and service quality.

Requirements

• Diploma or relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, export coordination, or a related role.
• Experience handling LCL and FCL shipments and export documentation.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with customers, vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
