Job Description

Join our team as a Driver and support our daily transportation and delivery operations by ensuring the safe, timely and efficient collection and delivery of goods. You will also be responsible for proper handling of goods, vehicle upkeep and accurate delivery documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily delivery and collection of goods to assigned customers, suppliers, project sites or designated locations.
• Operate the assigned company vehicle safely and responsibly in accordance with traffic regulations and company SOPs.
• Load, unload and properly secure goods, materials and equipment during transportation.
• Check goods against Delivery Orders (DO), invoices or other relevant documents before delivery or collection.
• Obtain and maintain accurate Proof of Delivery (POD), signatures and delivery records.
• Plan and follow assigned routes to ensure timely delivery and collection.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams regarding delivery schedules, locations and delivery issues.
• Report any delivery discrepancies, delays, damaged goods, traffic incidents or vehicle issues promptly.
• Conduct basic daily vehicle checks and ensure the vehicle is clean, safe and roadworthy.
• Ensure the security and proper handling of goods while they are under your care.
• Assist with warehouse or logistics activities when required.
• Handle urgent delivery or collection requests and ensure items required for same-day operations are completed within the required timeframe.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties related to the role as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 Driving Licence.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Delivery Driver, Company Driver, Class 3 Driver or similar role.
• Previous experience in delivery, logistics, warehouse or transportation operations is preferred.
• Familiar with Singapore roads, routes and traffic regulations.
• Experience handling delivery and collection of goods.
• Able to perform loading and unloading of goods/materials where required.
• Able to use GPS/navigation applications such as Google Maps.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety checks and basic vehicle upkeep.
• Good driving record and strong awareness of road and workplace safety.
• Physically fit and able to handle goods/materials as required by the role.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight delivery schedules and urgent requests.
• Good communication skills when dealing with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Class 4 Driving Licence is an advantage where applicable.
• Other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities related to the role as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
