FICOFI Wine & Business Analyst

Position Overview

  • Location: Singapore
  • Full-time position

A training program in fine wine distribution, you will gain hands-on exposure to and experience of the end-to-end wine business: from sourcing and procurement to crafting consumer- and client-facing wine offerings, while developing your analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills, as well as a deep understanding of the dynamics of the high-end wine market.

Join us at our Singapore HQ to accelerate your career in the luxury wine industry, developing the full spectrum of commercial, analytical, and relationship-management skills within a leading, world-class organisation.

Main responsibilities

1. Commercial Operations & Offer Development

a. Stock management & pricing strategy

  • Forecast inventory needs; monitor allocation levels and market prices.
  • Design and implement thematic offers in line with stock analysis, seasonal tastings, and new vintage releases.

b. Tailor-made client approaches and offerings

  • Analyse past purchase history and client wine profiles to draft personalized offers.
  • Coordinate bespoke “first cellar” and special-occasion proposals.

c. Procurement & allocations support

  • Assist in analysing allocation proposals received from producers, mostly relating to new vintages; prepare detailed client-level allocation analyses.
  • Assist in approving final offers: check stock availability and issue instructions to commercial and operations teams.

2. Sales Strategy, Campaigns & Events Coordination

a. Sales-driven campaign planning

  • Contribute to sales campaign calendars, online offers, and seasonal promotions.
  • Prepare presentation decks and briefing packs for commercial meetings.

b. Events & trip support

  • Collaborate on the coordination of tasting events, thematic dinners, estate visits, and private client trips.
  • Oversee post-event deliverables for an end-to-end experience.

3. Reporting, Analysis & Distribution Support

a. Business acumen & data analysis

  • Produce sales dashboards and financial models.
  • Update our CRM and databases with wine producer content.

b. Distribution reporting

  • Generate distribution studies for wine estates; monitor performance across regions.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of allocation options, purchase-option deadlines, and market trends.

c. Selective distribution support

  • Support our selective distribution activities by preparing and updating financial models, automated reports, and board presentation materials.

4. Relationship Management & Stakeholder Communication

a. Internal stakeholder engagement

  • Maintain proactive communication with Sales, Estates, Marketing, and Operations teams on cross-departmental activities.
  • Draft and disseminate regular briefings on new vintages, pricing changes, ongoing offers, and campaign results.

b. Client-facing liaison (indirect)

c. Prepare client communications, ensuring clarity and alignment with brand tone.

d. Act as a central point for any client inquiries received via the commercial team.

The position will be integrated into our Stock, Offers & Distribution Department, with strong interaction and collaboration on one-off projects, on a case-by-case basis, with the Sales and Estates Relationships departments, under their guidance and supervision
