Job Summary
The Quantity Surveyor will support contract management by preparing contract documents, evaluating subcontractors, and assisting project managers to ensure project progress and compliance with client requirements.
Responsibilities
Review contract documents to accurately interpret and confirm clients' needs
Verify in-house capabilities and resolve discrepancies related to contract execution
Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) submissions, progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts to support project financial management
Evaluate and recommend subcontractors and suppliers for tender awards based on assessment criteria
Draft and prepare contract documents for subcontractors to ensure clear contractual terms
Process subcontractors' payment applications and certify payments to maintain financial accuracy
Assist Project Manager by preparing progress reports, site reports, and site material requisition documents to support project tracking
Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned to support company operations
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Construction, Building Science, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience in civil and infrastructure quantity surveying
Proficiency in Blue Beam and Microsoft Office applications to prepare and manage project documents
Strong reasoning and analytical skills to assess contract and project details effectively
Proficient English communication skills, both spoken and written, to liaise with stakeholders
Proactive work attitude with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
