About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and resourceful Resourcing & People Experience Deputy Manager to support our talent acquisition and employer branding agenda.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Resourcing & People Experience & Office Services, you will manage end-to-end recruitment for Head Office functions, execute employer branding initiatives, and build meaningful partnerships with universities and colleges. You will also support internship, graduate recruitment, and talent pipeline programmes that strengthen Watsons Malaysia’s future workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end talent acquisition for Head Office functions, from sourcing and selection through offer management and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and deliver quality hires in a timely manner.
- Develop proactive sourcing strategies, talent communities and pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
- Plan and execute employer branding initiatives across digital and social media platforms.
- Support the promotion of Watsons’ Employee Value Proposition through recruitment campaigns, events and content.
- Build and maintain partnerships with universities, colleges and educational institutions.
- Identify, propose and execute suitable career fairs, campus engagements, internship and graduate recruitment programmes.
- Enhance the candidate and new joiner experience throughout the talent journey.
- Track recruitment and employer branding metrics and recommend improvements based on data and insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology or a related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant experience in talent acquisition, recruitment or employer branding.
- Hands-on experience in end-to-end recruitment for Head Office or corporate positions.
- Experience in employer branding, university engagement, campus recruitment or talent pipeline development is preferred.
- Experience managing internship or graduate recruitment programmes would be an advantage.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Good planning and project management capabilities.
- Comfortable using data and recruitment metrics to evaluate performance and recommend improvements.
- Proactive, resourceful and passionate about talent attraction, employer branding and candidate experience.
