About Else
Locally rooted but globally connected, Else is a modern-day sanctuary and cultural platform for travellers and guests to discover Kuala Lumpur through design, food, wellness, community, and thoughtful hospitality.
Located in the centre of Kuala Lumpur’s creative-cultural core, Else takes a distinct and differentiated approach to hospitality. Our approach is one where every experience is personalised, carefully crafted, and delivered with intention.
Our ambition is to operate successful restaurants within a hotel, and create a cohesive hospitality ecosystem across rooms, beverage programmes, events and programming.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving commercial revenue and business development across Else, with a primary focus on:
1. Event Sales (PoolHouse, Somewhere, Business Den)
2. F&B Sales (Yellow Fin Horse, Raw)
3. Room Sales
The role is highly proactive and relationship-driven, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing existing accounts, converting enquiries into revenue, and building long-term partnerships with corporate clients, agencies, event organizers, lifestyle brands, social groups and the wider creative community.
The Sales Manager should understand that selling Else is not simply about selling a meeting room, restaurant table or hotel room. It is about selling an experience, a sense of place and something different.
Success is measured primarily through F&B, event and meeting revenue, supported by clearly defined direct room-sales targets, a healthy sales pipeline, strong conversion, disciplined follow-through and long-term client retention.
