Our client is one of the leading players in the Science Industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Procurement Assistant to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West.

Responsibilities of Procurement Assistant:

• Purchase Order Processing: Review purchase requisitions, create and process purchase orders in SAP, and ensure timely approval and issuance within the required timeline.

• Vendor Management & Sourcing: Source suitable vendors, obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate competitive pricing, and support new vendor onboarding and EHS assessments.

• Order & Delivery Coordination: Liaise with vendors to monitor order status, ensure timely deliveries, expedite shipments, and address purchase-related enquiries, changes or cancellations.

• SAP & Procurement Administration: Maintain item records and price lists, create new items in SAP, and ensure accurate procurement documentation and records.

• Inventory & Team Support: Conduct quarterly stock takes, provide backup support to team members during leave, and assist with other ad-hoc procurement duties.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain
• Experience in SAP
