Electronics Technician

Job Scope

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain electronic and technical equipment.

• Diagnose faults in electronic components, wiring, sensors, motors and control systems.

• Conduct testing, calibration and preventive maintenance.

• Replace faulty components and carry out equipment repairs and adjustments.

• Assist with installation, setup and commissioning of equipment.

• Read electrical/electronic schematics and technical manuals.

• Maintain repair records, service reports and spare parts inventory.

• Support engineers with equipment testing and technical troubleshooting.

Requirements

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related fields.

• Basic knowledge of electronic components, electrical circuits and troubleshooting.

• Able to read and understand electrical/electronic schematics and technical manuals.

• Hands-on experience in equipment repair, testing or maintenance is an advantage.

• Familiar with basic testing tools such as multimeters and diagnostic equipment.

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Willing to learn and handle different types of technical equipment.

• Relevant experience in electronics, automation or equipment servicing will be an added advantage.
