Responsible for coordinating, supervising, and monitoring civil, structural, and architectural works to ensure construction activities are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise civil, structural, and architectural construction activities at the project site.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, method statements, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure works are completed according to the approved project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections to verify works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate RFI, technical queries, material submissions, shop drawings, and site instructions.
• Monitor construction methods, workmanship, materials, and technical compliance.
• Coordinate civil and structural interfaces with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with relevant parties to develop practical solutions.
• Assist in reviewing and resolving site discrepancies, design changes, and variation works.
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, progress reports, site records, inspection records, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with the QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure quality and safety requirements are followed.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works are carried out according to contractual and project requirements.
• Assist the Project Manager / Construction Manager in planning, coordination, and overall project execution.
• Ensure proper completion of testing, inspections, punch lists, as-built drawings, and project handover documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction or engineering projects.
• Experience in civil, structural, architectural, industrial, or oil & gas projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, specifications, and site coordination.
• Able to read and interpret civil, structural, and architectural drawings.
• Familiar with project documentation, RFI, method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and site instructions.
• Good knowledge of relevant construction standards and practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple site activities.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
