Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead sales and partnership initiatives for LG Smartboard and related hardware solutions. The role requires strong engagement with government agencies, education institutions, and industry stakeholders to drive business growth, secure new projects, and support the expansion of our solutions in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within government agencies, ministries, and educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities).
• Promote and present LG Smartboard and related hardware solutions to potential clients through product demos, presentations, and proposals.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with decision-makers, procurement teams, and strategic partners.
• Work closely with internal teams (technical, product, and marketing) to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation, tender submission, negotiations, to closing deals.
• Keep track of industry trends, competitors, and government initiatives related to digital education and smart classroom technologies.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
• Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and networking events relevant to the education and public sector.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
• 1–2 years of proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in IT hardware, education technology, or government sector projects.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement processes, tenders, and vendor registration requirements.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with CRM tools.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and exhibitions.

Preferred Attributes

• Existing network/contacts within Ministry of Education (MOE), government agencies, or higher learning institutions.
• Experience handling education technology projects or digital classroom initiatives.
• Passion for technology adoption in education and public services.
