About the role

We are hiring a Vibe Coding Developer to build and ship production systems at high velocity using AI-assisted development. You will work across our ERP, MES, SCADA and IoT product lines — translating messy real-world manufacturing requirements into working software, quickly and iteratively. This is a builder role. You will spend your time turning conversations with clients and site visits into prototypes within days, then hardening those prototypes into systems that run a factory. You will be expected to move faster than a traditional developer — and to know exactly where speed is appropriate and where it is not.

Key responsibilities

• Build and customise modules on Digiswiss ERP — custom document types, server and client scripts, reports, print formats and workflows.

• Integrate ERP with external systems: HRMS, CRM, finance, customer portals, supplier EDI and third-party APIs.

• Support data migration, UAT and go-live for client implementations.

• Develop shop-floor execution features: work order dispatch, operator terminals, routing and BOM handling, traceability, scrap and rework capture.

• Implement production planning and scheduling logic, including high-mix low-volume scenarios.

• Build barcode, QR and label workflows used by operators on the line.

• Acquire data from PLCs, CNC machines and industrial equipment via OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT or vendor SDKs.

• Build real-time dashboards, OEE and downtime tracking, alarm handling and historian storage.

• Develop firmware and edge services for ESP32-class devices and Raspberry Pi gateways.

• Join client site visits and factory immersions — you will stand at the machine and watch the process before you build for it.

About you

• 2+ years building and shipping production software (any stack). Strong candidates with less experience but an outstanding portfolio of shipped work will be considered.

• Demonstrable daily use of AI coding assistants, with real examples of what you have built with them.

• Solid fundamentals in at least one of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript or C#, plus SQL and relational data modelling.

• Comfortable with Git, Linux, REST APIs and containerised deployment.

• Able to read a requirement written by a non-technical factory manager and ask the right three questions before writing code.

• Based in or willing to relocate to Johor Bahru, and able to travel occasionally to client sites in Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.

• Working proficiency in English; Bahasa Malaysia and/or Mandarin is an advantage for client communication.

• Experience implementing or customising any open-source or commercial ERP platform.

• Manufacturing, industrial automation or OT exposure — PLCs, CNC machines, MES or SCADA platforms.

• Embedded or firmware work: ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, MQTT.
