Gateway Search Hiring! Full Time UPS Service Engineer in - Ricebowl

Gateway Search is proud to work with the service provider for turnkey power protection solutions. Due to their business expansion in Singapore, they are looking to bring on board a qualified Service Engineer.

Please note that the Service Engineer position is based on 5.5 working days basis.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible to provide quality service standard to customer.
• Maintain a strong customer relationship.
• Coordinate all site works with customer/vendor/sub-con.
• Conduct toolbox meeting/safety briefing to team prior to start work.
• Provide feedback of AE/Tech/GW performance to the management.
• Provide technical and logistical support to assign sites.
• Send vibration report to customer and site server.
• Provide on-site and off-site technical advice to customer.
• Resolve technical and logistical problems on the complete range of products provided.
• Provide reports with detail findings and recommendations to customer.
• Generate Method of Statement and Risks Assessment for assigned jobs/sites.
• Participate in planned routine maintenance and Adhoc works.
• Provide 24x7 customer support through telephone and site attendance.
• Monitor all maintenance activities e.g. battery, coolant, etc.

Job Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years’ experience in servicing and ability to troubleshoot down to component level
• Knowledge in Uninterruptible Power Supplies or Standby Generators is highly preferred.
• Ability to work independently and resourceful with good initiatives and foster customer relationship
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with excellent customer orientation
• Willing to work overtime and travel in short notice
• Class 3 license is an advantage
• Knowledge of general computer, hardware and software applications will be an added advantage
