Assistant Accounts Manager/ Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

Job description:

• Assist the group financial consolidation and reporting process, ensuring accurate and timely monthly and year-end consolidated financial statements.

• Review financial results of subsidiaries and perform group-level financial analysis, including variance analysis and performance review.

• Oversee intercompany transactions, balances, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.

• Assist group cash flow management, including cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning, and monitoring of funding requirements.

• Manage treasury activities, including banking relationships, cash position monitoring, fund transfers, and financing arrangements.

• Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process and coordinate budget preparation with subsidiaries and business units.

• Review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections and provide recommendations to management.

• Monitor actual performance against budget and provide budget variance analysis and financial insights.

• Oversee payment operations and ensure appropriate cash management and internal controls are in place.

• Liaise with bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and other external parties on finance-related matters.

• Oversee preparation of financial information and supporting documents for banking facilities, loans, and other financing matters.

• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management to support business decisions, cash flow management, cost control, and financial performance.

• Lead and guide the finance team in day-to-day finance operations and reporting.

• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned from time to time.
  

Requirement

• Minimum Degree in Accounting or Professional certificate, ACCA/CPA/LCCI

• At least 8 years of experience in accounting/auditing /finance field.

• Good interpersonal and analytical skills.

• Able to work independently with minimum supervision and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting/ financial system.

• Proactive and resourceful.
