Job Purpose
To support the OSHE Department in managing and maintaining document control centre and compliance on documentation, ensuring all records, procedures, and documents are properly controlled, updated, and maintained in accordance with company requirements and applicable Occupational Safety, Health & Environmental (OSHE) regulations and ISO standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and controlling OSHE documents, procedures, forms, records, and registers.
- Ensure all OSHE documents are properly updated, version-controlled, approved, and filed.
- Maintain the OSHE document master list and monitor document revisions and expiry dates.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation required for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 compliance.
- Support the preparation of documents and records for internal and external audits.
- Assist in monitoring compliance documentation, licences, certificates, inspection records, and statutory requirements.
- Conduct periodic checks to ensure OSHE records are complete, accurate, current, and properly maintained.
- Assist with safety inspections, workplace observations, risk assessment documentation, and corrective action records.
- Support the OSHE team in maintaining records related to incident reporting, training, PPE, emergency preparedness, environmental monitoring, and inspections.
- Follow up with relevant departments on outstanding OSHE documentation and corrective actions.
- Assist in preparing OSHE reports, presentations, checklists, and compliance tracking records.
- Perform other OSHE-related duties and projects assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree student in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Strong interest in OSHE, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and ISO standards.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining accurate documentation.
- Good analytical, communication, and follow-up skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/industrial environment and participate in site inspections.
