Role Description The Fundraising Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Petaling Jaya. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing fundraising activities and campaigns to support TAISO’s programs and operations. Day-to-day tasks include developing fundraising strategies, building and maintaining relationships with donors and partners, preparing proposals and reports, and coordinating events and outreach initiatives. The Fundraising Coordinator will also manage donor databases, track fundraising performance, and collaborate with program and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and impactful storytelling. The role requires proactive engagement with the community and stakeholders to expand TAISO’s support network and revenue streams.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for engaging donors, partners, and community stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Fundraising and Philanthropy knowledge to design, implement, and evaluate effective fundraising strategies and donor programs.
• Candidates should possess Event Planning skills to coordinate fundraising events, community drives, and donor engagement activities.
• Candidates should possess organizational and project management skills to handle multiple campaigns, timelines, and reporting requirements.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in basic office software and donor or CRM tools, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, with a commitment to TAISO’s social mission and ethical standards.
• Relevant experience in fundraising, nonprofit work, or community outreach is highly beneficial; a diploma or degree in communications, marketing, social sciences, or a related field is an advantage.
