WE’RE HIRING: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Remote | Part-Time or Commission-Based
The Safaa Safiyyah Publication is looking for someone to help us grow our presence internationally.
We are a Singapore-based children’s educational publisher specialising in bilingual Arabic-English books and learning resources. As we expand beyond Singapore, we are looking for someone who can actively connect our products with bookstores, distributors, schools, libraries and educational organisations worldwide.
What you’ll do:
• Research and identify potential international buyers, distributors and partners
• Reach out to bookstores, libraries, schools and educational organisations
• Introduce our catalogue and products to prospective partners
• Follow up on leads and enquiries
• Build long-term relationships with buyers and distributors
• Explore wholesale, distribution and other B2B opportunities
• Maintain a simple and organised pipeline of leads and follow-ups
• Work towards converting opportunities into actual orders and partnerships
Who we’re looking for:
You should be confident communicating with new people and comfortable doing outreach independently.
Experience in business development, B2B sales, publishing, education, books or international trade would be an advantage.
Strong written and spoken English is important.
Working arrangement
Fully remote
Part-time OR commission-based arrangement
Flexible working hours
Compensation structure will be discussed based on experience and working arrangement
