HIRING: ISLANDWIDE EVENT-BASED RETAIL ASSISTANTS

Event Locations & Dates:
West Region
30 Oct – 8 Nov 2026
23 Nov – 29 Nov 2026
East Region
16 Nov – 22 Nov 2026
North Region
18 Nov – 22 Nov 2026
Salary: $12/hour
Working Hours: 10:45 AM – 9:15 PM
Commitment: Minimum 3–5 shifts per event
Employment Type: Part-Time / Temporary
️ Job Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers in a friendly, polite and professional manner.
Attend to customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
Perform cashiering duties, process customer payments and handle transactions accurately.
Assist with daily event booth and retail operations.
Set up the retail cart before opening and cover it securely with a black cloth after closing.
Assist with stock replenishment, arrangement and inventory organisation.
Handle and move cartons of merchandise when required.
Ensure the retail cart and surrounding area remain clean, neat and presentable.
Perform other event-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Friendly, cheerful, approachable and customer-oriented.
Polite, well-spoken and comfortable interacting with customers.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be committed, punctual, reliable and responsible.
Strong sense of responsibility towards assigned shifts; able to report on time and fulfil confirmed commitments.
Proactive, hardworking and willing to learn.
Physically able to handle cartons and assist with stock movement when required.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous retail, event or customer service experience is an advantage.
No experience required; training and guidance will be provided.
Able to commit to a minimum of 3–5 shifts per event.
