We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern, Contracts to join the Contracts Department. In this role, you will gain practical exposure to contract administration, tendering processes, cost management and quantity surveying functions while supporting the team in the execution of development and construction projects.

Job Scope

• Assist in the preparation and administration of contract and tender documentation
• Support the tendering process, including obtaining quotations, compiling submissions and preparing comparison reports
• Assist in the evaluation of contractors, suppliers and subcontractors
• Maintain contract records, project documentation and filing systems in an organised manner
• Support the preparation of progress claims, payment recommendations and final account documentation
• Assist in cost estimation, budgeting and cost control activities for ongoing projects
• Liaise with consultants, contractors and internal departments on project-related matters when required
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations and other project documentation
• Participate in site visits and meetings to gain exposure to contract and project administration processes
• Undertake ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned

Job Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building Technology or a related discipline
• Only final-year students will be considered.
• Strong interest in contract administration, quantity surveying, cost management and property development
• Basic understanding of construction contracts and tendering procedures will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced working environment
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong proficiency in both spoken and written English

Location

Persiaran Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur (a shuttle service is provided between the Masjid Jamek LRT Station and the office)

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
