Job Description

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (SPM/'O' Level).

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a cashier or customer service role.

  • Proficiency in handling cash and processing credit card transactions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

  • Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.

  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely and responsibly.

  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and answering inquiries.

  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.

  • Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.

  • Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding sales and customer service.
