Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Technician Intern to support the installation, configuration, testing and maintenance of Data Acquisition Modules and building monitoring systems at customer sites.

This internship provides practical exposure to electrical, electronic and basic IT technical work, including building sensors, CCTV systems, networking and monitoring equipment. The successful candidate will work closely with our technical team to gain hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in installing and configuring Data Acquisition Modules, wiring, sensors and related equipment at customer premises.
• Support the setup and integration of building monitoring systems with existing electrical, electronic and IT infrastructure.
• Assist in functional testing, calibration and troubleshooting of monitoring equipment.
• Participate in on-site installation, servicing, maintenance and routine system checks.
• Assist with basic networking configuration, including IP settings and LAN connectivity checks.
• Coordinate with the technical team, building management, contractors and customers during installation and service visits.
• Prepare and maintain installation records, equipment details, device serial numbers and service reports.
• Follow technical instructions, workplace safety procedures and installation standards.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor or management

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Must be eligible for an internship or industrial training placement as part of the academic programme.

Technical Skills:

• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring, electronics or IT systems.
• Interest in building monitoring systems, sensors, CCTV and technical installation work.
• Basic networking knowledge is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn how to read wiring diagrams, configure equipment and perform troubleshooting.

Additional Requirements:

• Willing to travel to various customer sites across Klang Valley.
• Comfortable with hands-on technical work and assisting with equipment installation.
• Good communication skills and a positive learning attitude.
• Responsible, punctual, proactive and able to work well in a team.
• Able to follow instructions and comply with site safety requirements.
• Possess own transport would be an advantage.
• Available for the required internship period.
