Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Cook, preferably offshore/marine catering.

Valid BOSIETS where required by the offshore operator.

Valid Offshore/Seafarer Medical Fitness Certificate.

Good knowledge of food preparation, hygiene, HACCP and food safety.

Able to manage food stock, storage and galley cleanliness.

Able to prepare meals for a large number of crew and accommodate dietary requirements.

Good English communication skills.

Willing to work offshore on a rotation basis and stay onboard for the required period.

Prepare and cook daily meals for offshore crew and staff according to menu and required standards.

Ensure all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety, hygiene and HACCP requirements.

Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of the kitchen, galley, equipment and food storage areas.

Monitor food stock, inventory and supplies and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.

Ensure proper food storage, temperature control and stock rotation to minimize wastage.

Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and special requests where applicable.

Assist with menu planning and food preparation based on crew requirements.

Follow all offshore safety procedures, company policies and regulations.

Work closely with the catering team to ensure smooth and efficient meal service.

Maintain a professional and positive attitude while working in an offshore/remote environment.
