Edufarm Learning Centre Hiring! Part Time Freelance Barista Workshop Trainer in Southwest (Singapore) - Ricebowl

Edufarm Learning Centre seeks an individual freelance barista trainer for a beginner coffee and latte art workshop. Former Starbucks baristas are preferred; trainer or shift supervisor experience is an advantage.

Assignment details

Date: Friday, 6 November 2026

Workshop: 2–3.30pm (90 minutes), with setup beforehand and cleanup afterwards. Arrival time to be agreed.

Location: Choa Chu Kang, Singapore

Participants: approximately 15–20 beginners

Fee: S$50 TOTAL for this one-off assignment, including preparation, setup, workshop delivery, cleanup and transport. The per-day pay field refers to this single assignment.

Espresso machine, grinder and workshop tools provided by Edufarm.

Workshop programme

• Welcome and coffee introduction — 10 minutes: beans, origins and basic flavours.

• Barista demonstration — 15 minutes: espresso workflow, equipment use and safety.

• Hands-on espresso making — 20 minutes: guide participants through making espresso.

• Latte art — 45 minutes: demonstrate milk steaming and simple pouring, followed by guided practice.

Requirements

• Practical skills in espresso preparation, milk steaming and basic latte art.

• Able to lead a beginner workshop with clear, patient, step-by-step guidance.

• Able to adapt activities for seated participants.

• Safe handling of hot liquids and equipment; responsible for setup and cleanup.

• Able to accommodate hot chocolate, matcha and oat milk options, subject to agreed ingredients and arrangements.

• Available for freelance work on the stated date. Individual freelancers only.
