Internship/Part-Time Playgroup Teacher Assistant

Chateau Play | Horizon Hills, Iskandar Puteri

We're Looking For Someone Who Is

  • Warm, patient and genuinely enjoys being around young children

  • Responsible, reliable and willing to learn

  • Comfortable with messy play and hands-on activities

  • Able to work well as part of a small team

  • Open to a child-led and play-based environment

  • Comfortable communicating in English

  • Interested in early childhood education or child development

ECE experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Fresh graduates and students/interns are welcome to apply. Training and guidance will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • We are looking for a warm, patient and responsible Internship/ Part-Time Teacher Assistant to join our small early childhood team.

  • This is a good opportunity for fresh graduates, uni students or interns who are interested in Early Childhood Education, child development or working with young children.

  • Working Hours

  • Every Monday-Friday
    8:00AM – 1PM

  • Chateau Play is a child atelier and playgroup in Horizon Hills, Iskandar Puteri.

  • Our environment is play-based and child-led, with a strong focus on children's exploration, relationships and hands-on experiences. We provide opportunities for sensory play, open-ended play, nature exploration, process art and everyday learning.

  • What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting teachers during playgroup sessions

  • Helping to prepare and set up learning materials

  • Supporting children during play, sensory and creative activities

  • Helping with snack time, routines and transitions

  • Observing and responding to children's emotional and social needs

  • Helping to maintain a clean, safe and organised environment

  • Working closely with the teaching team

  • Assisting with simple clean-up after sessions
