Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QC/QA Engineer/Manager to join our company. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality across a wide range of materials—including plastics, rubbers, steels, aluminum, and rubber-molded components—while maintaining compliance with customer requirements and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in quality tools, root cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Inspection:

• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections for CNC-machined and moulded components.

• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.

• Operate and program quality inspection equipment, including 3D scanners, CMM, height gauges, callipers, pin gauges, and microscopes.

Quality Systems & Compliance:

• Support ISO/AS quality management system requirements, ensuring documentation and traceability are maintained.

• Develop inspection plans, control plans, and quality checklists for new and existing parts.

• Conduct regular audits of machining and moulding processes.

Problem Solving & CAPA:

• Perform detailed root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (production, engineering, supply chain) to resolve quality issues in a timely manner.

• Engage directly with customers to address quality concerns, communicate findings, and build strong technical relationships.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive initiatives to improve yield, reduce scrap, and enhance process capability.

• Recommend and implement improvements in machining, measurement, and quality control methods.

• Train operators and technicians in quality standards, tools, and inspection practices.

About the Job

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Review customers' purchase orders, check the versions of the designs, prices and etc, and submit for approval before creating sales orders.

• Follow up on customers' pending orders and liaise with relevant departments to provide daily updates to customers. To update the portal on the promised date after confirming the delivery date from the respective department. 

• Ensure all orders are arranged and delivered as promised. Arrange the shipments with logistics.

• Keep the team informed about new orders and the allocation of the sales orders with the production teams.

• Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and professional manner. 

• Take charge for the issuance of the invoicing and also shipments

• Work closely with the productions team for the orders fulfillments.

• Manage and organize office files, documents, and records, including the invoicing.

• Provide general administrative support to team members as needed. 

• This role is report direct to Managing Director, Sales Director and Finance Head.

Admin:

• Serve as the contact point for providing the invoices/documents that were received in the field and sending them to HQ/the relevant department for processing purposes. 

• Liaise with the production teams and also logistic teams.

• Other tasks as assigned by superiors. 

Logistics & LMW: 

• Invoice with LMW documents for each customer delivery. 

• Ensure preparation of invoices and delivery orders (DO), coordinating with the finance team at HQ. 

• Coordinate with the supply chain team regarding incoming goods. 

• Handle customs clearance notifications for incoming goods. 

• Support LMW documents monthly at the customs office

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience, preferably in sales admin teams, and preferable have experience of handling LMW.

• Good command of written and spoken English. Proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage due to the nature of business communication with a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.

• Proficiency in computer-aided systems such as SQL/Dynamic. 

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. 

• Qualification: Diploma or equivalent. 

Requirements:

Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Materials Engineering (or equivalent).

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of quality control experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing environments.

• Proven exposure to diverse materials such as plastics, rubbers, steels, aluminum, and rubber molding.

• Ability to speak and read Mandarin, as may need to deal with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders. 

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in using quality inspection tools (3D scanner, CMM, height gauges, callipers, pin gauges, microscopes).

• Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and metrology.

• Hands-on knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality standards.

Analytical & Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills (e.g., 8D, fishbone, 5 Whys).

• Experience in implementing CAPA effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to liaise with both internal teams and customers.

• High attention to detail, organised, and process-driven.
