about the job
You will drive the end-to-end product lifecycle for strategic house brands, taking ownership of everything from initial supplier identification and rigorous cost negotiations to successful cross-functional product launches.

• End-to-End Product Management: Spearhead the full product development lifecycle, guiding consumer goods from initial concept and sourcing through to production, shipping, and nationwide retail launch.

• Strategic Sourcing & Tenders: Execute comprehensive sourcing tenders and build "clean sheet" bottom-up cost models to negotiate optimal terms on pricing, volume, logistics, and quality.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the central anchor between internal departments, including Food Safety, Marketing, and Supply Chain - translating commercial requirements into detailed product specifications and ensuring compliance.

• Vendor Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships with suppliers through regular business reviews, driving continuous improvement, innovation, and adherence to strict service agreements.

• Commercial Optimisation: Monitor inventory forecasts, analyse market trends, and manage promotional planning to drive product sales and maximise market penetration.
  

skills and experience required

• Degree qualified with a strong, proven background in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or retail industry, particularly within food category.
• Demonstrated expertise in running sourcing tenders, executing "clean sheet" cost analysis, and a solid grasp of supply chain dynamics, cost drivers, and product quality control.
