Role Description

Provides operational and administrative support to corporate banking clients and relationship teams. Helps clients with day-to-day banking needs, including account opening and maintenance, authorized signatory changes, payment services, cash management, online banking access, and transaction-related enquiries. Explains service requirements and procedures, checks submitted instructions and documents for completeness, and coordinates requests through the appropriate internal processes.

Supports corporate client onboarding and periodic reviews by collecting and organizing required information, verifying documentation, and following up on outstanding items. Works with relationship managers and relevant teams to support customer due diligence, know-your-customer (KYC) reviews, and compliance checks. Escalates incomplete, inconsistent, or unusual requests for further review and handles client information according to bank policies and confidentiality requirements.

Coordinates with operations, payments, compliance, credit, technology, and product teams to resolve service issues and process requests accurately and within agreed timelines. Tracks requests through to completion, keeps client and account records up to date, and communicates progress or required actions to clients and colleagues. May help prepare service reports, onboarding updates, process documentation, and client materials.

Looks for ways to improve the corporate banking service experience by identifying recurring delays, documentation gaps, or process issues. At executive or associate level, the role may include greater responsibility for client coordination, service reviews, and complex requests. A support officer may focus more heavily on processing, recordkeeping, and administrative accuracy, depending on the organization.
