KAYANGAN HOLDINGS SDN BHD is a premium interior design and events group behind KL Living, Llama Venture and Keluar Kotak.
We are looking for an Accounts & Finance Executive to own the day-to-day accounting and finance operations across the Kayangan Holdings Group and its entities (KL Living, Llama Venture, Keluar Kotak).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounting & Reporting
- Own and maintain the day-to-day full set of accounts (GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, journal entries) across the Group, tagged by entity, project/campaign and cost centre
- Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts and supporting schedules
- Ensure compliance with MFRS and company accounting policies
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and bankers
- Prepare supporting schedules for the annual statutory financial statements for management/director review and sign-off
Financial Planning & Compliance Support
- Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity; support preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Conduct financial and variance analysis (budget vs. actual) and present findings to management
- Provide financial advice and recommendations to Management for decision-making
- Support project/event costing and profitability analysis; propose pricing input for management review
Payroll & Cross-Functional Support
- Monitor and manage banking facilities, loans, overdrafts, and credit lines; ensure timely compliance with SST, LHDN, etc.
- Oversee debtor/creditor aging and drive collection efforts; oversee timely payments to suppliers and contractors
- Verify employee claims and statutory deductions (EPF/SOCSO/EIS) for accuracy; maintain audit-ready documentation
- Prepare financial dashboards, KPI summaries, and a weekly task tracker for management
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Hard Requirements (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA, MIA) — in progress or completed — is an advantage (strong plus)
- Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on accounting experience, including reconciliations and exposure to intercompany / multi-entity or group consolidation work
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian tax, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards (MFRS)
- Proficiency in accounting software (SQL, AutoCount, Xero, Bukku, or equivalent) and MS Office, including advanced Excel
- Excellent communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia; high integrity and ability to handle confidential information; able to work independently
Strong Plus (Advantages)
- Prior experience guiding or reviewing the work of junior accounts staff
- Track record of improving financial processes or implementing internal controls
- Experience in the event services, hospitality, or service industry
